Americo Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliano Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Guaberto Ler made a huge save. Guaberto Ler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Boniel in the 9th minute of play. Sacachispas F.C's Emiliano Marin got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ceferino Confesor hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Charlotte Hornets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. When Americo Kelemen came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Charlotte Hornets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Kelemen couldn't finish the play. Emiliano Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Ler having to interfere. Guaberto Ler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Marin in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Charlotte Hornets's zone, Genaro Boniel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Ler came out of the goal and Genaro Boniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Genaro Boniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilfredo Montez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Cresconio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Americo Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Americo Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charlotte Hornets's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Kelemen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Cresconio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Genaro Boniel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Americo Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Cresconio having to interfere. Charlotte Hornets's Wilfredo Montez got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute Genaro Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Ler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Hever kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Americo Kelemen made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Cresconio. Sacachispas F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gilberto Cresconio made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Americo Kelemen sent off a good shot on target. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sacachispas F.C! The referee gave Charlotte Hornets a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eleuterio Frasquito, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sacachispas F.C's Gilberto Cresconio. 0-3. Guaberto Ler came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sacachispas F.C's Emiliano Marin. But to his dismay, Emiliano Marin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Ceferino Confesor charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Confesor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Charlotte Hornets got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Confesor. 97 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Montez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilberto Cresconio, 1-4. Charlotte Hornets played a much better game than Sacachispas F.C and deserved their victory. The Sacachispas F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
