Parque Chacabuco FC's Kayhan Behram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Benvide in the 22nd minute of play. Celso Abajas made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Sebastian Abreu sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Bastian got free with Celso Abajas in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C. A. Colon de Santa Fe's Celso Abajas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Colon de Santa Fe from getting a goal against them. After 33 played minutes, Parque Chacabuco FC's Siro Rutenio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celso Abajas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Parque Chacabuco FC reached it. Sebastian Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Celso Abajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Umea in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of C. A. Colon de Santa Fe booed when Parque Chacabuco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute David Hori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kayhan Behram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Hori to make the kick off. Celso Abajas came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Parque Chacabuco FC's Sebastian Abreu. But to his dismay, Sebastian Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 69 minutes into the match, C. A. Colon de Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Umea came free, but Celso Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rodolfo Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute, Rodolfo Umea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th match minute, Parque Chacabuco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Lluciano to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes of play, Parque Chacabuco FC's Sebastian Abreu made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Abajas was left in no man's land by his defense there!
