In the 11th minute, Eustaquio Darien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Eustaquio Darien put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Celso Abajas. Felipe Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Celso Abajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Abajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Abajas having to interfere. If Felipe Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Abajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Paredon FC's Horacio Sadurni got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Eustaquio Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paredon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Darien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Abajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Felipe Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. Celso Abajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Sadurni in the 76th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes C. A. Colon de Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Gilabert. If Mauricio Guillelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Sadurni couldn't finish the play. Horacio Sadurni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Colon de Santa Fe's zone, Horacio Sadurni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Abajas came out of the goal and Horacio Sadurni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute Eustaquio Darien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paredon FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
