Spectators: 6680 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anselmo Cambranes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Yuquerí FC's Ciro Acosta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Ursino in the 3rd minute of play. Horacio Sadurni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ciro Acosta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Felipe Ursino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paredon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Ursino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodosio Distiratsu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Paredon FC's Mauricio Guillelme got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Teodosio Distiratsu fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yuquerí FC's protests and gave Teodosio Distiratsu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, one of Yuquerí FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yuquerí FC. Yuquerí FC:s Ciro Acosta showed great skill when he stopped Eustaquio Darien:s penalty. 11 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Darien notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yuquerí FC's Ciro Acosta. Ciro Acosta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Froilan Liher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Errando in the 15th minute. Froilan Liher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Cambranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Darien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Acosta having to make a save. Eustaquio Darien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ciro Acosta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Paredon FC booed when Yuquerí FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Firmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Ursino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Acosta having to interfere. Jonas Corderun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Acosta having to interfere. Felipe Ursino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Sadurni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ciro Acosta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Acosta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Sadurni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Felipe Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Acosta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Sadurni, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Eustaquio Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paredon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Darien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Acosta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horacio Sadurni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Paredon FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Paredon FC's Horacio Sadurni slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ciro Acosta. That made the score 0-3 after 52 minutes of play. 55 minutes into the match, Paredon FC's Horacio Sadurni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Acosta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felipe Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ciro Acosta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Acosta having to interfere. Lucio Dominguez struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ciro Acosta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paredon FC. In the 69th minute, Yuquerí FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eustaquio Darien fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Horacio Sadurni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Acosta having to make a save. Horacio Sadurni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eustaquio Darien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ciro Acosta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Mauricio Guillelme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paredon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yuquerí FC the free kick. The supporters of Yuquerí FC booed when Paredon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Guillelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Froilan Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Distiratsu in the 78th minute of play. Ciro Acosta made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Horacio Sadurni sent off a good shot on target. After 84 played minutes Paredon FC's Eustaquio Darien stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Ciro Acosta stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Yuquerí FC of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Yuquerí FC's zone, Horacio Sadurni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Acosta came out of the goal and Horacio Sadurni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Errando in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Liher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Paredon FC's Mauricio Guillelme got a free kick in the 96th minute.
