Sebastian Abreu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnulfo Igon having to make a save. Arnulfo Igon stood somewhat misplaced when Rodolfo Umea came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 3 minute. If Rodolfo Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Sebastian Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parque Chacabuco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnulfo Igon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fabio Chico came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Gino Renni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Chico couldn't finish the play. In the 20th play minute Sebastian Abreu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnulfo Igon. 2-0. Arnulfo Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Umea in the 23rd minute of the match. Albano Montrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Kayhan Behram tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Gino Renni defense, Rodolfo Umea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Igon. The Gino Renni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Igon should have stopped the shot. Gino Renni's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rodolfo Umea 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. After having played for 42 minutes, Albano Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gino Renni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Montrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siro Rutenio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnulfo Igon. Gino Renni's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Gino Renni booed when Parque Chacabuco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Umea didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Kayhan Behram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Gino Renni defense, Sebastian Abreu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Igon. The Gino Renni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Igon should have stopped the shot. Arnulfo Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Umea in the 75th minute of play. Rodolfo Umea charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Umea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gino Renni getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Vladimiro Galo hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Laureano Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Abreu in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnulfo Igon saved Gino Renni from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gino Renni's Laureano Santana got a free kick in the 96th minute. Parque Chacabuco FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
