When David Hori came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the C. A. Colon de Santa Fe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Hori couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the C. A. Colon de Santa Fe defense, Eriberto Kelemen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Abajas. The C. A. Colon de Santa Fe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Abajas should have stopped the shot. David Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Ioritz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, David Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Colon de Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but David Hori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Ioritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Abajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Argi, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Leopoldo Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Carlomagno during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of J.P.S booed when C. A. Colon de Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Carlomagno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Kelemen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colon de Santa Fe's goalkeeper Celso Abajas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Argi. Fulgencio Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Ioritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Hori in the 80th minute of the match. David Hori might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Ioritz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Hori ran back to his position shaking his head. Eriberto Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Gilabert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Ioritz. J.P.S's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. J.P.S had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
