A sloppy throw-in by Narciso Gerazan in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paredon FC's Angelino Millan. Felipe Ursino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvio Macerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Eustaquio Darien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Darien made the kick off in the second half. Elvio Macerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Sadurni, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Club Atlético La Escoria's Elvio Macerio got control of the ball when Eustaquio Darien tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético La Escoria's zone, Horacio Sadurni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Macerio came out of the goal and Horacio Sadurni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Paredon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Loren came free, but Froilan Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Loren during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético La Escoria's goalkeeper Elvio Macerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Froilan Liher came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético La Escoria's Rodrigo Loren. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Loren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Rodrigo Loren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético La Escoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Loren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Liher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvio Macerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Sadurni, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Paredon FC's Mauricio Guillelme got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Mauricio Guillelme off the ground. After 74 played minutes Paredon FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Guillelme. Horacio Sadurni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvio Macerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Paredon FC's Eustaquio Darien pulled a muscle in his leg after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 88 minutes of play Club Atlético La Escoria's Rodrigo Loren was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Paredon FC booed when Club Atlético La Escoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Loren didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Erubiel Todor with Ubaldo Cordaro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Club Atlético La Escoria getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gavino Galtero hit a great ball.
