In the 9th minute Victorino Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Basilio Guillelme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavanagh AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Guillelme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Iaki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15thth minute of the game Basilio Guillelme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burruyacú's Adan Iaki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Burruyacú's Ciriaco Marz got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Guillelme in the 30th minute of play forced Burruyacú's goalkeeper Adan Iaki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Iaki was a little too slow when Basilio Guillelme got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. After 35 played minutes Burruyacú got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Eneto. In the 38th minute, Victorino Medina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burruyacú fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Enzo Quinten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Maximo Eneto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burruyacú's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Eneto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Claus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basilio Guillelme to strike the kick off in the second half. Tobias Claus made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Maximo Eneto sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Quinten in the 59th minute of play forced Burruyacú's goalkeeper Adan Iaki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cavanagh AFC's Basilio Guillelme got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Cavanagh AFC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Cavanagh AFC's Basilio Guillelme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adan Iaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Quinten, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Burruyacú's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Guillelme came free, but Adan Iaki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximo Eneto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tobias Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Blasi charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Blasi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciro Blasi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Cavanagh AFC's Basilio Guillelme got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Burruyacú players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cavanagh AFC.
