A collision led to Los Santos City getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Arnoldo Fonda hit a great ball. Leandro Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jairo Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Los Santos City's goalkeeper Jairo Cordero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Oliveiro. Melquiades Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Enetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Gudesteo's late challenge caught a Villa Del Quepar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Gudesteo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Los Santos City getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fulgencio Gudesteo hit a great ball. Dionisio Belo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Cordero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Melquiades Weterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Dolfos, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Los Santos City's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Gil came free, but Jairo Cordero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Enetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute Benedicto Dolfos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Weterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Los Santos City's goalkeeper Jairo Cordero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Oliveiro. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Angelino Mero put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Villa Del Quepar booed when Los Santos City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Dolfos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Dolfos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Weterio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Benedicto Dolfos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Santos City's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Dolfos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Weterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Villa Del Quepar's Melquiades Weterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Dolfos in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedicto Dolfos to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmacio Panfilo during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los Santos City's Dalmacio Panfilo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Del Quepar's goalkeeper Melquiades Weterio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Los Santos City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Baristo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Villa Del Quepar getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Andres Oliveiro hit a great ball. If Benedicto Dolfos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Natalio Enetz in the 77th minute really tested Melquiades Weterio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Andres Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Del Quepar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Oliveiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Gil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leandro Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Cordero having to interfere. Jairo Cordero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Oliveiro in the 93rd minute of play. When Omar Eguen fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Del Quepar's protests and gave Omar Eguen a yellow card for diving instead. Villa Del Quepar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Santos City for a fine match.
