Leopoldo Gentza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Mogel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CLUB DEPORTIVO ESPECTRO's zone, Leopoldo Gentza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Mogel came out of the goal and Leopoldo Gentza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MERSA F.C. were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after CLUB DEPORTIVO ESPECTRO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iker Rami took the corner. After having played for 40 minutes, Leopoldo Gentza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MERSA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Gentza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Serafino Elia fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MERSA F.C.'s protests and gave Serafino Elia a yellow card for diving instead. Serafino Elia kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Leopoldo Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Leopoldo Gentza made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Mogel. CLUB DEPORTIVO ESPECTRO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

54 minutes into the game, Arsenio Checa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Benjamin Pancho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Bruno Mogel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Mogel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Nataniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Bruno Mogel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MERSA F.C.. In the 94th minute, MERSA F.C.'s Rogelio Nataniel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Leopoldo Gentza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Bruno Mogel made a huge save. The CLUB DEPORTIVO ESPECTRO support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
