Spectators: 7296 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erubiel Duarte got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Saltamontes F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Iago came free, but Leo Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saltamontes F.C.'s Leo Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Duarte in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vorterix FC's zone, Maximiliano Gurutz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kacper Grunwalski came out of the goal and Maximiliano Gurutz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vorterix FC's Erubiel Duarte in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saltamontes F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Duarte in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Rio saved Saltamontes F.C. from getting behind. If Erubiel Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Erubiel Duarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Rio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximiliano Gurutz to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Vorterix FC booed when Saltamontes F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Gorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Luisito Iago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisito Iago in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Rio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th match minute, Saltamontes F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Maximiliano Gurutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Grunwalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes Vorterix FC got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Iaki. Narciso Cidro's late challenge caught a Vorterix FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Cidro helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Gorri in the 81st minute of play forced Vorterix FC's goalkeeper Kacper Grunwalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Justino Tohias in the 86th minute really tested Leo Rio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 90th minute Luisito Iago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vorterix FC played a much better game than Saltamontes F.C. and deserved their victory. The Saltamontes F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
