Trinity F.C.'s Faustino Romo got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Faustino Romo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Phelipe. Desaguadero AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Romo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Celso Micael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desaguadero AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Micael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Bertran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristobal Guillem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Anier Bertran made a huge save. After having played for 40 minutes, Hector Guerau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desaguadero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Guerau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Trinity F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Adrian Shantala hit a great ball.

Celso Micael got in the 57th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anier Bertran handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Adrian Shantala charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Shantala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Trinity F.C.'s Adrian Shantala got a free kick in the 59th minute. Trinity F.C.'s Anier Bertran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Micael in the 62nd minute of play. When Cecilio Sindo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trinity F.C.'s protests and gave Cecilio Sindo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, one of Trinity F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trinity F.C.. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Laurgain during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cesar Laurgain kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Cristobal Guillem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The Trinity F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Trinity F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
