Alberto Evangelista came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente F.C.'s Serafino Tristan. But to his dismay, Serafino Tristan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alberto Evangelista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafino Tristan went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Jatsu during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Independiente F.C.. Baltasar Etxekopar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alberto Evangelista. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Bladi in the 24th minute of play forced Club Atlético Juarense's goalkeeper Alberto Evangelista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Bladi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Evangelista having to make a save. Serafino Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alberto Evangelista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Independiente F.C. booed when Club Atlético Juarense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Cristóvão Prado in the 39th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Maximino Ranolfo's left hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Juarense's zone, Paolo Bladi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Evangelista came out of the goal and Paolo Bladi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltasar Etxekopar shot the penalty kick right outside the post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paolo Bladi to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristóvão Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Birant Kerim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Independiente F.C.'s Baltasar Etxekopar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cristóvão Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Maximino Ranolfo made a huge save. Alberto Evangelista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Bladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente F.C.'s zone, Birant Kerim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Ranolfo came out of the goal and Birant Kerim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximino Ranolfo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Prado's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Independiente F.C.'s Maximino Ranolfo got control of the ball when Cristóvão Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Rivas struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Maximino Ranolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Juarense. Independiente F.C.'s Maximino Ranolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Paolo Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Independiente F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
