After 3 played minutes Garzon got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Quinteros. In the 4th minute, Inocencio Cordareo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregorio Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Peter in the 6th minute of the match. With a little luck, Chañar AFC's Gregorio Gonzales got control of the ball when Aureliano Gorri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregorio Gonzales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Gorri in the 11th minute. Arsenio Ourente was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Garzon booed when Chañar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Asier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Baltasar Aurken shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregorio Gonzales showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Inocencio Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Arsenio Bidari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Gorri succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 27th playminute. Baltasar Aurken, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Genaro Lluciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Cordareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chañar AFC's Genaro Lluciano got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Aureliano Gorri sped through Chañar AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gregorio Gonzales. In the 59th minute, Domingo Miliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Arsenio Ourente almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Garzon's Arsenio Bidari did a great save. Garzon's Arsenio Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Cordareo in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Aureliano Gorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Genaro Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chañar AFC booed when Garzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Ordono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Llucianos short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Arsenio Bidari to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Inocencio Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Arsenio Bidari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Garzon's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Cordareo came free, but Arsenio Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Inocencio Cordareo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Chañar AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Cordareo couldn't finish the play. If Genaro Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Gorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gregorio Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Garzon had won after a very even match.
