Spectators: 7208 (Terracing: 5408, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Iker Ranolfo made the kick off which started today's match. EL PALACIO del PIBE's Eloy Chorche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Jerrald in the 6th minute of play. Samuel Jerrald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in San La Muerte's zone, Iker Ranolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Gaitan came out of the goal and Iker Ranolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, San La Muerte's Modesto Guillelmus got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, San La Muerte's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Ranolfo came free, but Edgard Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. EL PALACIO del PIBE's Eloy Chorche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save EL PALACIO del PIBE from getting a goal against them. Samuel Jerrald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulgencio Quentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Eloy Chorche made a huge save. Fulgencio Quentin scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eloy Chorche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guillermo Chepe charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Chepe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Guillermo Chepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 2-1 became the score in the 43rd minute when Iker Ranolfo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Samuel Jerrald might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Chorche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Jerrald ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Jerrald to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Iker Ranolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Chorche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Jerrald, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Guillermo Chepe struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Eloy Chorche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San La Muerte. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Fulgencio Quentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. San La Muerte's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Quentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Chorche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 64 minutes, Samuel Jerrald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San La Muerte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Jerrald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eloy Chorche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Jerrald, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Iker Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Gaitan having to interfere. Emiliano Azubeli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edgard Gaitan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fulgencio Quentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, San La Muerte's Fulgencio Quentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eloy Chorche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. EL PALACIO del PIBE's Iker Ranolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgard Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Ranolfo in the 96th minute of the match. EL PALACIO del PIBE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
