After having played for 3 minutes, Gustavo Astigar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF Talleres de Cba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Astigar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Sotil kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Samuel Jerrald struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Filiberto Argi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San La Muerte. After a rather tough play, San La Muerte's Samuel Jerrald got a free kick in the 10th minute. San La Muerte's Edgard Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Astigar in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, San La Muerte's Samuel Jerrald nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filiberto Argi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, San La Muerte's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Astigar came free, but Edgard Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San La Muerte's Edgard Gaitan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save San La Muerte from getting a goal against them. Kenny Bell struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Edgard Gaitan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Talleres de Cba. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustavo Astigar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgard Gaitan. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Kenny Bell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgard Gaitan having to make a save. In the 30th minute of the match Teodosio Balasi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiberto Argi skillfully saved the ball. Edgard Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Astigar in the 32nd minute of play. When Gustavo Astigar came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the CF Talleres de Cba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Astigar couldn't finish the play. A collision led to San La Muerte getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Guillermo Chepe hit a great ball. If Gustavo Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Gustavo Astigar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgard Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Astigar, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Guillermo Chepe got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Guillermo Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulgencio Quentin to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, San La Muerte's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Astigar came free, but Edgard Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Astigar in the 57th minute of play. Adan Celio, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 2-1 became the score in the 60th minute when Gustavo Astigar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gustavo Astigar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustavo Astigar took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Gaitan. Edgard Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Igor Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to CF Talleres de Cba getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Kenny Bell hit a great ball. Gustavo Astigar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, San La Muerte's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Balendin came free, but Edgard Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ruben Naldo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San La Muerte's protests and gave Ruben Naldo a yellow card for diving instead. Ruben Naldo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Filiberto Argi made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Fulgencio Quentin sent off a good shot on target. Kenny Bell was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, CF Talleres de Cba's Kenny Bell got a free kick in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CF Talleres de Cba fully deserved thier win.
