Maximino Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Presebal in the 6th minute of the match. de locos's Maximino Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Cordarryl in the 10th minute of play. Arano's Isaias Presebal got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th match minute, Arano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Santio to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Otsando during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of de locos booed when Arano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Otsando didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Isaias Presebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, de locos's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Cordarryl came free, but Maximino Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaias Presebal struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Maximino Urbasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arano. Erubiel Cordarryl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Erubiel Cordarryl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eulalio Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Americo Oalo made a kick off. de locos's Americo Oalo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Americo Oalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Martxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Timo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Julio Elizardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Freddy Martxot. Arano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Americo Oalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arano's zone, Nicanor Cucao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Martxot came out of the goal and Nicanor Cucao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Americo Oalo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the de locos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Oalo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Arano booed when de locos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Urbasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Presebal in the 77th minute. Americo Oalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Eulalio Perez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Arano's Freddy Martxot. Freddy Martxot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Freddy Martxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Perez in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, de locos's goalkeeper Maximino Urbasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Presebal. Erubiel Cordarryl received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximino Urbasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Erubiel Cordarryl slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 95th minute.
