But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Jerrald couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulgencio Quentin to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes San La Muerte got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Jerrald. Fulgencio Quentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eulalio Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Perez in the 59th minute of play forced San La Muerte's goalkeeper Edgard Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Americo Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eulalio Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Artal kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Eulalio Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. de locos's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Elizardo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Julio Elizardo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgard Gaitan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in San La Muerte's zone, Americo Oalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Gaitan came out of the goal and Americo Oalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The San La Muerte players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented de locos from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
