But to his dismay, Donato Pacifico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. CF Talleres de Cba's Filiberto Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Cordarryl in the 25th minute of play. Filiberto Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Presebal in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Arano's Erubiel Cordarryl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filiberto Argi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 33 minutes of play, Arano's Virgilio Santio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filiberto Argi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Freddy Martxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Astigar, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Filiberto Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Cordarryl in the 46th minute of the match.

In the 54th minute of the match, Donato Pacifico got a very nice opportunity to score, but Filiberto Argi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gustavo Astigar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Freddy Martxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, CF Talleres de Cba's Adan Celio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Martxot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 58 played minutes, CF Talleres de Cba's Franz-Josef Beckenbauer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Freddy Martxot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CF Talleres de Cba reached it. In the 60th match minute, Arano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Otsando to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Argi was a little too slow when Isaias Presebal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-6. Kenny Bell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Virgilio Santio hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Gustavo Astigar made a precise shot to the right of Freddy Martxot. Arano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. Kenny Bell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Astigar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Martxot was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Freddy Martxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Celio, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Santio in the 87th minute of play forced CF Talleres de Cba's goalkeeper Filiberto Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, CF Talleres de Cba's Filiberto Argi got control of the ball when Donato Pacifico tried to sneak it across the goal line. CF Talleres de Cba's Filiberto Argi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save CF Talleres de Cba from getting a goal against them. Franz-Josef Beckenbauer charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
