The referee ignored Deportivo Pappo's protests and gave Tito Noir a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Deportivo Pappo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tito Noir to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd match minute, Deportivo Pappo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Mede to maneuver through the defense. EL PALACIO del PIBE's Eloy Chorche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Gutxi in the 41st minute of play. Eloy Chorche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Maximiliano Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Eloy Chorche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Deportivo Pappo were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Iker Ranolfo made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Emiliano Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL PALACIO del PIBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Azubeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, EL PALACIO del PIBE's Eloy Chorche got control of the ball when Lázaro Gutxi tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Gaufred in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Chorche saved EL PALACIO del PIBE from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, EL PALACIO del PIBE's goalkeeper Eloy Chorche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Gutxi. In the 62nd minute Maximiliano Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in EL PALACIO del PIBE's zone, Lázaro Gutxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Chorche came out of the goal and Lázaro Gutxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximiliano Gaufred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute, Lázaro Gutxi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eloy Chorche was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Eloy Chorche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Gaufred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to EL PALACIO del PIBE getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Roman Sanchez hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Maximiliano Gaufred managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maximiliano Gaufred did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Eloy Chorche 87 minutes into the match. Deportivo Pappo's Maximiliano Gaufred got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tito Noir got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Deportivo Pappo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
