But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Jerrald couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Ritchie kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Fulgencio Quentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Chuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Gaitan having to interfere. In the 40th minute Samuel Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Arnalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Quentin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Honorato Arnalt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gerardo Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Honorato Arnalt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honorato Arnalt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Jerrald, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Chuse got free with Edgard Gaitan in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes in the game, Gerardo Suarez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edgard Gaitan having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. San La Muerte had won after a very even match.
