The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gregorio Eneko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Miro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by GinTonic FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Delmar Todor was slow to take the kick. During this time Lemoncetto's players had a chance to rest. Omar Santana was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 9 minutes, Delmar Todor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lemoncetto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Todor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Frasquito struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Alfredo Rufo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lemoncetto. If Angelo Eriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Frasquito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Todor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Rufo having to make a save. In the 20th minute, Nicolas Mikelats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lemoncetto's Angelo Eriz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmar Todor struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Alfredo Rufo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lemoncetto. If Higinio Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Modesto Frasquito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lemoncetto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 33 minutes GinTonic FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Delmar Todor who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Todor in the 34th minute of play forced GinTonic FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Miro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Eneko, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Angelo Eriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Rufo having to interfere. Modesto Frasquito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Delmar Todor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Rufo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in GinTonic FC's zone, Angelo Eriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Rufo came out of the goal and Angelo Eriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregorio Eneko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Siro Miro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Angelo Eriz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alfredo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Frasquito in the 66th minute of play. Angelo Eriz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Rufo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. If Delmar Todor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Miro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Eneko, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Siro Miro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Iruinea in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Angelo Eriz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lemoncetto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Angelo Eriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. When the final whistle sounded Lemoncetto left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GinTonic FC.
