The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Matteo during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute Teodosio Romelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes, Temperley F.C.'s Faustino Endura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Artemio Chinto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Temperley F.C. reached it. Artemio Chinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Romelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Teodoro Gaizkine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Tonio having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodosio Romelio to strike the kick off in the second half. Temperley F.C.'s Cayetano Tonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Furman in the 55th minute of play. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Raimundo Furman sped through Temperley F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cayetano Tonio. Guido Aresti kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Cayetano Tonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Gaizkine in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Temperley F.C.'s zone, Raimundo Furman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Tonio came out of the goal and Raimundo Furman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Edgard Fix fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Temperley F.C.'s protests and gave Edgard Fix a yellow card for diving instead. Edgard Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Guajal's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Romelio came free, but Artemio Chinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Tonio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Gaizkine went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Edgardo Olando got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Teodosio Romelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Artemio Chinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teodosio Romelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artemio Chinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Olando in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guajal had won after a very even match.
