After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Nemesio Lluis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Artemio Chinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobias Barto's late challenge caught a Pie de Ángel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Barto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Guajal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Barto to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Pie de Ángel's Pascual Txurio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nereo Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Artemio Chinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Furman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Illart having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Lluis in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Chinto saved Guajal from getting behind. Godofredo Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Artemio Chinto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pascual Txurio. Nemesio Lluis struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Artemio Chinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pie de Ángel. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Ignado got free with Artemio Chinto in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Hermengildo Sandalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenio Johans's late challenge caught a Pie de Ángel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Johans helped the player get up and apologised. 36 minutes into the game, one of Guajal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pascual Txurio placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Guajal's Severiano Vigil got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 47th minute, Raimundo Furman made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Illart. Pie de Ángel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After the first half Guajal were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Furman made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Guajal's Tobias Barto got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Pascual Txurio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Artemio Chinto. Guajal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guajal's Artemio Chinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Ignado in the 58th minute of play. Nereo Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Chinto having to interfere. Raimundo Furman struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Fausto Illart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guajal. After recieving a nice pass, Guajal's Americo Cordarrell tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fausto Illart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Furman in the 71st minute of the match. Teodoro Gaizkine struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Fausto Illart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guajal. Fausto Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Furman in the 74th minute of play. Nemesio Lluis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nemesio Lluis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Guajal getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Edgardo Matteo hit a great ball. If Teodoro Gaizkine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes of play, Guajal's Teodoro Gaizkine made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Illart was left in no man's land by his defense there!
