The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Modesto Frasquito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Delmar Todor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Illart having to interfere. The supporters of Lemoncetto booed when Pie de Ángel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Petri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lemoncetto's Siro Miro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Lemoncetto from getting a goal against them. Siro Miro made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Nereo Ignado sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Pie de Ángel's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Frasquito came free, but Fausto Illart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lemoncetto's Angelo Eriz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmar Todor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Illart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Todor in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Pie de Ángel's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Cordeal came free, but Fausto Illart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Delmar Todor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Angelo Eriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Illart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Eriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Eriz in the 38th minute of play forced Pie de Ángel's goalkeeper Fausto Illart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Miro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Lluis in the 45th minute of play. Angelo Eriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Todor in the 48th minute of play forced Pie de Ángel's goalkeeper Fausto Illart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Modesto Frasquito made the kick off in the second half. Delmar Socorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Illart having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Higinio Cordeal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddy Ihintza kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Lemoncetto got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Oriche. Nemesio Lluis took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Miro. Siro Miro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Modesto Frasquito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Illart having to interfere. If Delmar Todor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Cordeal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Angelo Eriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Pie de Ángel's goalkeeper Fausto Illart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmar Todor. Angelo Eriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, Nemesio Lluis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pie de Ángel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lemoncetto the free kick. 85 minutes into the match, Lemoncetto's Higinio Cordeal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Illart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute Modesto Frasquito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Illart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Todor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Fausto Illart when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fausto Illart made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Angelo Eriz sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Lemoncetto players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
