The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Olando got free with Domingo Santio in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ruben Mero fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Temperley F.C.'s protests and gave Ruben Mero a yellow card for diving instead. Ruben Mero hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes, Temperley F.C.'s Ruben Mero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Domingo Santio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Temperley F.C. reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Mero in the 16th minute of play forced WAITING FC's goalkeeper Domingo Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Temperley F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Teodosio Romelio hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Temperley F.C.'s Ruben Mero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domingo Santio. Domingo Santio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Epifanio Loiola during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cayetano Tonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Boniel in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Rogelio Boniel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Temperley F.C.'s Cayetano Tonio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Prudencio Vasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cayetano Tonio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Rogelio Boniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes, Rogelio Boniel made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Temperley F.C.'s Cayetano Tonio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingo Santio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Romelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Guido Aresti kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Boniel in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Tonio saved Temperley F.C. from getting behind. Prudencio Vasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cayetano Tonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Boniel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Tonio was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Mero in the 70th minute of play forced WAITING FC's goalkeeper Domingo Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prudencio Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Tonio having to interfere. Rogelio Boniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Vasco got free with Cayetano Tonio in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rogelio Boniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Temperley F.C.'s Cayetano Tonio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Temperley F.C. from getting a goal against them. When the match was over WAITING FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Temperley F.C. throughout the match.
