Fausto Illart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Romelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Olando struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Fausto Illart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temperley F.C.. 41 minutes into the game, Temperley F.C.'s Teodosio Romelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Illart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, Temperley F.C.'s Cayetano Tonio got control of the ball when Nereo Ignado tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Temperley F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The Temperley F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Temperley F.C.'s Teodosio Romelio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pie de Ángel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guido Aresti ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Aquilino Jakue to score against Fausto Illart in Pie de Ángel's goal. 0-5 after 96 minutes. Temperley F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
