Benigno Kismi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, TERREMOTO's Benigno Kismi got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jimeno Romildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Gaufred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rigoberto Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Rigoberto Gaufred's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimeno Romildo was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeledon Guillen to make the kick off. Jimeno Romildo came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Instituto de Cordoba's Zacarias Hegoi. But to his dismay, Zacarias Hegoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 62nd minute, Benigno Kismi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonzo Oidor was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rodolfo Cordareo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Instituto de Cordoba getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Leonardo Raymundo hit a great ball. Santos Petrigai came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by TERREMOTO's Zeledon Guillen. But to his dismay, Zeledon Guillen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 75th minute, Zacarias Hegoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Instituto de Cordoba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Zeledon Guillen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Petrigai having to interfere. Zacarias Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Romildo having to interfere.
