In the 23rdth minute of the game Santos Xabier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La de siempre FC's Enzo Telesforo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Albino Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, GimnasiayEsgrima La Plata's Godofredo Mogel got control of the ball when Simon Lordi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes in the game, Simon Lordi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Godofredo Mogel having to interfere. Simon Lordi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Godofredo Mogel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Augusto Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Simon Lordi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La de siempre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Lordi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La de siempre FC's Simon Lordi got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Godofredo Mogel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Lordi's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Alejo Prejun's late challenge caught a La de siempre FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But to his dismay, Albino Brun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Godofredo Mogel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Formerio in the 75th minute of play. Godofredo Mogel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Lordi went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to La de siempre FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Aureliano Ruy hit a great ball. If Simon Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute Arturo Gai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Mogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Cordero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Godofredo Mogel. GimnasiayEsgrima La Plata's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. La de siempre FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
