Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simon Lordi started the match with the kick off. Santos Petrigai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Lordi in the 7th minute of the match. Augusto Rodriguez struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Santos Petrigai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La de siempre FC. Instituto de Cordoba's Santos Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Lordi in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Instituto de Cordoba's Rigoberto Gaufred ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enzo Telesforo. Enzo Telesforo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Evelio Millrick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Enzo Telesforo made a huge save. In the 18thth minute of the game Simon Lordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Instituto de Cordoba's Santos Petrigai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Simon Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Santos Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Gaufred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Telesforo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Arturo Gai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Gregorio Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Gaufred was the one to do the kick off. Simon Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Petrigai having to interfere. When Simon Lordi came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the La de siempre FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Lordi couldn't finish the play. Simon Lordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Santos Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Instituto de Cordoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Millrick to maneuver through the defense. Simon Lordi took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Petrigai. Santos Petrigai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Simon Lordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Santos Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Simon Lordi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La de siempre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Lordi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Lordi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Santos Petrigai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Santos Petrigai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Lordi's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Enzo Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Gaufred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Raymundo took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Telesforo. Enzo Telesforo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Instituto de Cordoba succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though La de siempre FC had controlled the match.
