Guido Gaufred in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victoriano Eguzki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 6th minute, Jose Cayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Efren in the 10th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Victoriano Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Gaufred who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Victoriano Eguzki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 19 minutes into the game, Felix Efren lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Victoriano Eguzki. In the 22nd minute Felix Efren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Efren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Eguzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Victoriano Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Efren, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Guido Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Arnoldo Benino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 minutes of play, El Pase al Pie F.C's Felix Efren made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victoriano Eguzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Efren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Eguzki having to interfere. Victoriano Eguzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Gaufred in the 43rd minute. Felix Efren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Victoriano Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guido Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Efren to make the kick off. The supporters of El Pase al Pie F.C booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Nel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Efren in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Gaufred came free, but Victoriano Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Efren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Victoriano Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Efren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felix Efren struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Victoriano Eguzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pase al Pie F.C. Guido Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Victoriano Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Guido Gaufred got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Felix Efren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Pase al Pie F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Efren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guido Gaufred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Eguzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 89th minute, Felix Efren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guido Gaufred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Eguzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Felix Efren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guido Gaufred blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Eguzki having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the El Pase al Pie F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
