Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1380, VIP seats: 7) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zeledon Guillen started the match with the kick off. Zeledon Guillen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Eguzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Rodolfo Cordareo managed to get in a good position for a shot. TERREMOTO's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Cordareo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Eguzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victoriano Eguzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Guillen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Guillen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. River Plate's Marcelino Nel got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, TERREMOTO's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ladislao Montxo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 23 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Guillen came free, but Victoriano Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Zeledon Guillen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Eguzki. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Guillen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Zeledon Guillen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Victoriano Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Kismi in the 42nd minute of the match. Jacobo Beltran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Victoriano Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Cordareo took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Eguzki. Victoriano Eguzki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Montxo to make the kick off. Hector Bittor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Victoriano Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jimeno Romildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Cordareos short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Victoriano Eguzki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 70th minute, Teodoro Ieltxu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and River Plate's Victoriano Eguzki didn't even have to move. Rodolfo Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Victoriano Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zeledon Guillen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoriano Eguzki came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by TERREMOTO's Rodolfo Cordareo. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Cordareo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.
