Spectators: 6406 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Generoso Nicholas kicked off to start the match. Zacarias Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Gil in the 3rd minute of play. When Generoso Nicholas came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Shines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Nicholas couldn't finish the play. Generoso Nicholas might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermegildo Palban. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Nicholas ran back to his position shaking his head. Benigno Rojelio struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ermegildo Palban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shines. Zacarias Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Zacarias Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Gil in the 22nd minute of the match. Domingos Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Faron in the 26th minute of play forced Shines's goalkeeper Zacarias Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Zacarias Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Shines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Merexildo to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Benigno Rojelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Teodoro Soter hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Benigno Rojelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pocito AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Aquilino Guillen hit a great ball. Shines's Benigno Rojelio managed to work through Pocito AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Benigno Rojelio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salvador Faron to make the kick off. When Eliseo Froila fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pocito AFC's protests and gave Eliseo Froila a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pocito AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Eliseo Froila hit a great ball. Generoso Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacarias Faro was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Salvador Faron capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Salvador Faron really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Ermegildo Palban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Nicholas, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Benigno Rojelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ermegildo Palban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Shines's goalkeeper Zacarias Faro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pocito AFC's Salvador Faron got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Faro made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Domingos Gil sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Salvador Faron fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zacarias Faro, passed just outside the right post. If Domingos Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Faron in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pocito AFC's Luciano Damario got a free kick in the 85th minute. Ermegildo Palban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Rojelio's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pocito AFC's zone, Benigno Rojelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Palban came out of the goal and Benigno Rojelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Palban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Nicholas's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pocito AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
