Grüttly AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Viviano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Palban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermegildo Palban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grüttly AFC's Placido Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Gil in the 17th minute of play. Rodrigo Viviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pocito AFC's Eliseo Froila got a free kick in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Grüttly AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Faron came free, but Placido Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Pocito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Damario to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Donostia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Viviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Teodoro Soter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salvador Faron was the one to do the kick off. Domingos Gil did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Placido Velasco 88 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Domingos Gil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pocito AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
