Donato Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Victoriano Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Omar Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Montxo's late challenge caught a C.A. Central Norte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Montxo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ladislao Montxo hit a great ball. Victoriano Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Clementi in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.A. Central Norte's Donato Eudoxio got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jose Cayo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Omar Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardino Celipe kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute of the match Isidoro Maldonado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victoriano Eguzki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Victoriano Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Clementi in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Lorenzo Veronica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Central Norte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Victoriano Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half C.A. Central Norte were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Omar Clementi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Eguzki having to interfere. 55 minutes in the game, Omar Clementi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Victoriano Eguzki having to interfere. In the 66thth minute of the game Omar Clementi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Victoriano Eguzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute Omar Clementi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Veronica struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Victoriano Eguzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Central Norte. In the 71st minute of the match, Omar Clementi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victoriano Eguzki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Bernardino Celipe fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate's protests and gave Bernardino Celipe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C.A. Central Norte booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, River Plate's Victoriano Eguzki got control of the ball when Lorenzo Veronica tried to sneak it across the goal line. Omar Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Celipe to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, River Plate's goalkeeper Victoriano Eguzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Veronica. If Lorenzo Veronica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Omar Clementi scored to the left of an out of position Victoriano Eguzki, making the score, 0-2. Victoriano Eguzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Veronica in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Clementi in the 94th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Victoriano Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. Central Norte's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
