An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Matei in the 6th minute of play forced TERREMOTO's goalkeeper Jimeno Romildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 played minutes TERREMOTO got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Hernandez. Jimeno Romildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Casado in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Romildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilfredo Lucila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. COCODRILO's Guillermo Llanos pulled a muscle in his leg after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 13 minutes, Feliciano Hernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TERREMOTO and the COCODRILO players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of COCODRILO booed when TERREMOTO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes, COCODRILO's Wilfredo Lucila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jimeno Romildo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in COCODRILO reached it. Jimeno Romildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Casado's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Feliciano Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimeno Romildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Matei in the 24th minute of play. Feliciano Hernandez got his second yellow card in the match during the 25th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Feliciano Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Wilfredo Lucila sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimeno Romildo skillfully saved the ball. In the 27th match minute, TERREMOTO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Kismi to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Casado in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimeno Romildo saved TERREMOTO from getting behind. COCODRILO's Rene Ceandro suffered a sore thigh after 36 minutes and couldn't finish the game. TERREMOTO's Jimeno Romildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Casado in the 40th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aaron Casado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. COCODRILO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TERREMOTO the free kick. Rosendo Lawrence kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Aaron Casados short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Jimeno Romildo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joaquin Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Zeledon Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimeno Romildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Casado in the 97th minute. When the match was over COCODRILO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TERREMOTO throughout the match.
