Arnoldo Benino's late challenge caught a Pocito AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Benino helped the player get up and apologised. Arnoldo Benino hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Domingos Gil sped through River Plate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victoriano Eguzki. Salvador Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Domingos Gil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Victoriano Eguzki made a huge save. Domingos Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Pocito AFC's Victoriano Eguzki threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Salvador Faron, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pocito AFC were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after River Plate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gualterio Lidon took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gualterio Lidon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victoriano Eguzki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Salvador Faron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Faron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Eguzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Montxo made a kick off. Victoriano Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Guillen in the 51st minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, River Plate's Ladislao Montxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Palban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victoriano Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Eliseo Froila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Eguzki. Victoriano Eguzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87thth minute of the game Domingos Gil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Victoriano Eguzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victoriano Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Gil in the 89th minute of play. Salvador Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Victoriano Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pocito AFC had played much better football throughout.
