Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Omar Clementi made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to C.A. Central Norte getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Donato Eudoxio hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes C.A. Central Norte got a freekick which was hit by Omar Gorka. After 17 minutes of play, Instituto de Cordoba's Zacarias Hegoi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeo Ordono was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Instituto de Cordoba's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Clementi came free, but Santos Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zacarias Hegoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Ordono was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Instituto de Cordoba's goalkeeper Santos Petrigai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Veronica. 28 minutes into the game, Leonardo Raymundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Instituto de Cordoba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Central Norte the free kick. The supporters of C.A. Central Norte booed when Instituto de Cordoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Raymundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Gaufred recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Rigoberto Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Ordono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Hegoi in the 36th minute of play forced C.A. Central Norte's goalkeeper Tadeo Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigoberto Gaufred made a kick off. If Omar Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Lorenzo Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Santos Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Eudoxio hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Gaufred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Ordono having to interfere. Zacarias Hegoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Tadeo Ordono made a huge save. The supporters of Instituto de Cordoba booed when C.A. Central Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Eudoxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rigoberto Gaufred came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Instituto de Cordoba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Gaufred couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Gaufred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Instituto de Cordoba played a much better game than C.A. Central Norte and deserved their victory. The C.A. Central Norte players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
