Joaquin Rufio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Remigio Figueroa 12 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Chalacea's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Bela came free, but Remigio Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Bela in the 19th minute of play forced Chalacea's goalkeeper Remigio Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Bela in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigio Figueroa saved Chalacea from getting behind. A hard shot 25 in the game by Joaquin Rufio from a close distance when the talented Remigio Figueroa managed to make a qualified save. Chalacea's players were relieved. Remigio Figueroa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Rufio in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Paulo Rayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villa Gesell getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Siro Guerrero hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Jose Bela made the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Rufio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Villa Gesell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Rufio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Rufio in the 91st minute of play forced Chalacea's goalkeeper Remigio Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Chalacea's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Bela came free, but Remigio Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. El Arco C.D. Villa Gesell had played much better football throughout.
