Dante Alvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquiles Ermengol having to make a save. Natalio Sendoa took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Ermengol. Aquiles Ermengol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aaron Faron came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roberto Brun could save by the left post. Luisito Faro kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Tapso AFC's Roberto Brun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Hotz in the 12th minute of play. Aquiles Ermengol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Sendoa in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Generoso Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Unai was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Paulino Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brinkmann's protests and gave Paulino Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Paulino Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisito Faro didn't quite understand what happened when in the 36 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Aquiles Ermengol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dante Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Brinkmann players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tapso AFC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Generoso Hotz made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Brinkmann's zone, Natalio Sendoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Ermengol came out of the goal and Natalio Sendoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Brinkmann's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dante Alvarez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Aquiles Ermengol managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Tapso AFC's Dante Alvarez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Generoso Hotz struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Roberto Brun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brinkmann. With his leg Aquiles Ermengol managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Tapso AFC's Dante Alvarez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 69th minute, Luisito Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Angelino Argina sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tapso AFC's Roberto Brun didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Dante Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapso AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Alvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Ermengol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natalio Sendoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Natalio Sendoa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aquiles Ermengol. That made the score 0-2 in the 81 minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Diego Raymundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brinkmann's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapso AFC the free kick. 86 minutes into the game, one of Brinkmann:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dante Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Ermengol having to interfere. When the match was over Tapso AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brinkmann throughout the match.
