Saul Tello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Mede in the 21st minute. If Anastasio Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Anastasio Sagrario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Felipo. Keith Richards project RC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anastasio Sagrario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, C.A.T.A's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Inge came free, but Saul Tello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.T.A's goalkeeper Saul Tello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Gaston Ederono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keith Richards project RC's Melquiades Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Sagrario in the 45th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Jairo Tono managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.T.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Tono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Felipo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jairo Tono to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Keith Richards project RC booed when C.A.T.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Keith Richards project RC's Jaime Firman in action when he in the 65th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.A.T.A would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
