The coaching staff of Palermo Hollywood FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amado Enekoitz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 75 minutes into the game, one of Palermo Hollywood FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Gimnasia Esgrima La Plata a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. Gimnasia Esgrima La Plata were victorious despite being under pressure from Palermo Hollywood FC for much of the match.
