When German Gauargi came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Larroque FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Gauargi couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Dolphins FC booed when Larroque FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Sayvion didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Larroque FC's zone, Nemesio Arlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Txatxu came out of the goal and Nemesio Arlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Marcial Soin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rigoberto Txatxu, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Nemesio Arlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dolphins FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Arlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Txatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rigoberto Txatxu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcial Soin's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcial Soin made a kick off. Cecilio Kaiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
