Korneliusz Wawak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonard Kalak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Paz in the 22nd minute of the match. If Gilberto Uhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Aurken kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Preston North End's Korneliusz Wawak got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Banderaló FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Korneliusz Wawak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gilberto Uhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robustiano Deunoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Acevedo in the 43rd minute of the match. Segundo Pacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paolo Perrando made a kick off. Gilberto Uhin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robustiano Deunoro having to make a save. If Korneliusz Wawak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hector Cedro struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Robustiano Deunoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Preston North End. Robustiano Deunoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korneliusz Wawak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Korneliusz Wawak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robustiano Deunoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Korneliusz Wawak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robustiano Deunoro, 0-3. In the 82nd minute, Carmelo Conrao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Gilberto Uhin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Preston North End's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Uhin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robustiano Deunoro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. After a rather tough play, Preston North End's Hector Cedro got a free kick in the 90th minute. The supporters of Preston North End booed when Banderaló FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Menendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Banderaló FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Preston North End were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
