With a little luck, Banderaló FC's Robustiano Deunoro got control of the ball when Nemesio Arlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marcial Soin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dolphins FC's Nemesio Arlo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Banderaló FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nemesio Arlo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Banderaló FC's Robustiano Deunoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Banderaló FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Banderaló FC booed when Dolphins FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Isaac Panfilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banderaló FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Panfilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Tadzio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcial Soin had several of the Banderaló FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Robustiano Deunoro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Robustiano Deunoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Arlo in the 33rd minute. Marcial Soin struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Robustiano Deunoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dolphins FC. When Ciriaco Buinton was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. In the 39th match minute, Dolphins FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Buinton to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Panfilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Angelino Tadzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Arlo was the one to do the kick off. When Alfredo Hats came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Dolphins FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Hats couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute of the match Dolphins FC got a corner. Banderaló FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albino Barbosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Isaac Panfilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Panfilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Tadzio having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Marcial Soin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gonzalo Chap fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dolphins FC's protests and gave Gonzalo Chap a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Banderaló FC's zone, Nemesio Arlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Deunoro came out of the goal and Nemesio Arlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dolphins FC's Marcial Soin got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Banderaló FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
