Spectators: 7285 (Terracing: 5466, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Ezequiel Sugar made the kick off and thus started the match. Omar Felo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Esquipula's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Christian Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Omar Felo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Soutomayor's Ezequiel Sugar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Felo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 20thth minute of the game Ildefonso Umea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soutomayor's Jose Caton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ezequiel Sugar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Felo having to interfere. Ildefonso Umea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Caton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carolo Beremundo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Esquipula came free, but Omar Felo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Felo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Soutomayor's Christian Esquipula. But to his dismay, Christian Esquipula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 43 minutes of play, Soutomayor's Ezequiel Sugar made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Felo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Soutomayor were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goalkeeper Omar Felo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Sugar. Ezequiel Sugar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Soutomayor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Christian Esquipula had several of the Belgrano's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Omar Felo as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 68th minute, Belgrano's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ezequiel Sugar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Omar Felo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Esquipula, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Esquipula came free, but Omar Felo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Umea hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, Soutomayor's Ezequiel Sugar made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Felo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Soutomayor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
