Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Preston North End's Teobaldo Maraman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Berretta FC's zone, Teobaldo Maraman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Sagrario came out of the goal and Teobaldo Maraman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teobaldo Maraman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Cirilo Sagrario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Korneliusz Wawak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Korneliusz Wawak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Sagrario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Wawak in the 22nd minute of play. Teobaldo Maraman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Preston North End's Korneliusz Wawak got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Korneliusz Wawak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cirilo Sagrario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 37 minutes, Miloš Soboňa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Preston North End's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miloš Soboňa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Segundo Pacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Sagrario having to interfere. After 41 minutes of play, Preston North End's Korneliusz Wawak made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cirilo Sagrario was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the game, Korneliusz Wawak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Preston North End's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berretta FC the free kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Korneliusz Wawak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Preston North End's supporters rose to their feet, but Korneliusz Wawak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Sagrario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berretta FC's Cirilo Sagrario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Conrao in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Korneliusz Wawak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Sagrario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Cedro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cirilo Sagrario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute of the match Preston North End got a corner. Berretta FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eriberto Marquez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Berretta FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Teobaldo Maraman scored to the left of an out of position Cirilo Sagrario, making the score, 0-3. In the 70th minute Miloš Soboňa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Sagrario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Hector Cedro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cirilo Sagrario. The goal made the score 0-5. Erasmo Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Berretta FC's Cirilo Sagrario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Berretta FC from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Carmelo Conrao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirilo Sagrario. Berretta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Conrao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Roque Acevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Cirilo Sagrario made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Korneliusz Wawak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Preston North End's supporters rose to their feet, but Korneliusz Wawak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Sagrario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Berretta FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Preston North End were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
