After a rather tough play, Salame Tandilero FC's Primitivo Foro got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Ildefonso Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Veto scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omar Felo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goalkeeper Omar Felo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Indar. Ildefonso Umea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Panfilo having to make a save. Vinicio Fe charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Fe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Vinicio Fe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Veto in the 41st minute of play forced Belgrano's goalkeeper Omar Felo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Panfilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ildefonso Umea was the one to do the kick off. Omar Felo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Veto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ildefonso Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Leon Indar made a precise shot to the right of Omar Felo. Belgrano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Belgrano's Eugenio Paio got a free kick in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the Salame Tandilero FC defense, Rene Osasun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Panfilo. The Salame Tandilero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Panfilo should have stopped the shot. Leon Indar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salame Tandilero FC's Leon Indar got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Omar Felo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Indar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Leon Indar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salame Tandilero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Indar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Felo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
