Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Atilano Ticho took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Antoymau booed when Merayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Mirande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Vedillo in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Telmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bruno Blasi fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antoymau's protests and gave Bruno Blasi a yellow card for diving instead. Bruno Blasi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Cristobal Horado from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Mariano Baumer's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Severo Sandaili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Mariano Baumer made a huge save. In the 19th minute, one of Merayo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Merayo. In the 21st minute, Fabio Illan made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Telmo. Merayo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Sandaili got free with Mariano Baumer in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Merayo's Bruno Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Hori in the 31st minute of play. After 38 played minutes Merayo got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Ticho. Mariano Baumer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Sandaili in the 41st minute. Mariano Baumer made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Severo Sandaili sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Severo Sandaili notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Antoymau's Mariano Baumer. Mariano Baumer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Vedillo made a kick off. Bruno Telmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Vedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd match minute, Merayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Lapurdi to maneuver through the defense. Atilano Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atilano Ticho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Baumer having to interfere. Mariano Baumer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Sandaili in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Ticho in the 67th minute of play forced Antoymau's goalkeeper Mariano Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Severo Sandaili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Baumer. Antoymau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Sandaili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Merayo's Cristobal Horado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Antoymau. Gabriel Vedillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Gabriel Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merayo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
