Cecilio Rosalio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Salvadore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Ivan Segio rounded Tabay's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 20 minutes of play, Tabay's Christian Henrico made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogelio Jeraldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Augusto Ubendu scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogelio Jeraldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Melba's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Ubendu came free, but Rogelio Jeraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Jeraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Niva, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Atilano Niva's late challenge caught a Melba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Niva helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tabay getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Atilano Niva hit a great ball. Nestor Xabat charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Xabat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Tabay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Xabat to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 43 minutes, Ivan Segio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Segio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Melba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Honrio to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Segio to make the kick off. Christian Henrico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rogelio Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Otsoko's late challenge caught a Tabay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Otsoko helped the player get up and apologised. Denis Otsoko kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Christian Henrico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Segio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With his leg Rogelio Jeraldo managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Tabay's Christian Henrico fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ivan Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Omar Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Chan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 minutes of play Tabay's Nestor Xabat was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Vicente Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Rosalio in the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Tabay's Atilano Niva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogelio Jeraldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Cecilio Rosalio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melba's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Rosalio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Salvadore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Melba's goalkeeper Rogelio Jeraldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ivan Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Rosalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tabay had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
